What Do the Different Inventory Statuses Mean?

On LindeDirect, orders are placed for either pickup or delivery. This means that the inventory available to you differs depending on your location and order type.


For example, if you place a pickup order from our branch in Raleigh, NC, that inventory is different than if you place a delivery order to your home in Raleigh, NC. The delivery order is shipped from one of our regional distribution centers (DC) which has a completely different inventory allotment than the local branch.

Out of StockThis product is normally stocked at your local branch but is temporarily unavailable for pickup.
Not available. Check other locationsThis product is not carried at your local branch. You may check other locations for pickup availability.
