The unique hougen design includes a special tooth geometry that helps maintain a better chip flow than other brands. The shank allows for cutters to be used in Hougen drills and competitive models utilizing the one-touch arbor system. Using the set screw arbor system can result in up to 2x the tool life as tool-less systems.
