Our ProStar AVENGER 140 MP MIG Welder is a portable, direct current (DC) inverter wire feed welder capable of welding steel or stainless steel with solid wire (with shielding gas) or with flux core wire, using the provided MIG gun. It also comes ready to accept an optional spool gun for welding aluminum. This machine also has smooth DC stick capabilities and the ability to perform lift start DC gas tungsten arc (TIG) welding on steel and stainless steel materials with the optional TIG torch.
This ProStar AVENGER 140 MP MIG Welder is capable of MIG welding 3/16 inches carbon steel in a single pass. It uses leading edge inverter technology to provide high-quality welds that are crisp, clean, consistent and strong enough to impress the most experienced welders. One of the many advantages of inverter technology is its ability to create more welding power from a smaller transformer.
The AVENGER 140MP also provides for stick welding with electrodes up to 3/32 inches with the exceptionally smooth DC stick welding output on materials such as steel, stainless steel, cast iron, hard facing, and aluminum. Typical applications include construction, auto repair, farm and ranch and light industries.
