Product Highlight: MILLER® MULTIMATIC® 235 Multiprocess Welder
This week we are happy to feature the MILLER® MULTIMATIC® 235 multiprocess welding power source, which offers higher output for professionals in manufacturing and fabrication, MRO, construction fabrication and education. This machine has the tools needed to get work done easily and allows welders of all skill levels to work with MIG, flux-cored, stick, and DC TIG applications. MILLER has designed this welder to set up quickly, getting operators up and running with max efficiency and confidence.
Versatility
The MULTIMATIC 235 is a versatile, all-in-one machine designed to get more jobs done. Multiprocess capabilities include MIG, flux-cored, stick, DC stick, DC LIFT-ARC™ TIG and pulsed TIG capabilities and allowing welders to tackle more projects and materials without the downtime for changeover required when using multiple power sources. With up to 170 amps at 60% duty cycle, the MULTIMATIC 235 also provides the power needed to get jobs done faster.
Easy to Use
Innovative technology and a simple design enhance the machine’s ease of use. With the AUTO-SET™ Elite feature, weld settings are predefined for all weld processes, simplifying setup and ensuring the job is done right no matter the operator’s skill level. In addition, the 4.3-inch color LCD screen makes proper setup and parameter selection simple so you can spend more time actually welding, rather than setting up.
Additionally, the GUN-ON-DEMAND™ feature allows operators to simply pull the trigger on MIG gun or spoolgun for the system to automatically detect and recall the voltage, wire feed speed of the active gun.
Portability
Weighing just 63 pounds, the MULTIMATIC 235 is less than half the weight of transformer-based machines and can go where the work is, with the added convenience of using one machine versus two or more. The EZ-LATCH™ running gear means operators no longer need to lift the machine and cart into a truck, since latches secure the machine to the cart and disconnect easily. This delivers ultimate portability and makes it easier to work in small spaces.
