Galvanized coating remains one of the most popular choices in corrosion prevention and contains zinc to protect steel and/or iron from the debilitating effects of corrosion. For years, hot-dip galvanizing has been the preferred process for adding this weather-protective coating to metals such as steel, iron or aluminum. While hot-dip galvanizing has its benefits, cold galvanizing compounds can be a superior choice depending on your operation, especially with repairs and after welding processes.
Where hot-dip galvanizing needs to be applied in a controlled setting, cold galvanized coatings can be applied like paint, by brush or sprayed on, in nearly any location. Additionally, galvanizing spray is ideal for cost-effective and rapid application on smaller structures and components and is also great for touch-ups in full-scale project applications.

Our PROSTAR matte finish zinc galvanizing spray provides excellent corrosion protection on welds, galvanized steel, carbon steel and other ferrous surfaces exposed to harsh environments. Unlike traditional sprays, this quick-drying spray provides a dark gray, matte finish.
Free of oxide fillers, this spray contains highly active pure zinc particles that combat rust and corrosion creepage by providing flexible, galvanic self-healing zinc film, resulting in high level of protection. This product meets or exceeds ASTM A-780 specifications.
Also available, PROSTAR™ gloss finish zinc galvanizing spray provides excellent corrosion protection on welds, carbon steel and other ferrous surfaces exposed to harsh environments. This high-quality product meets MIL-P-21035 specifications.
